Donations

We are fortunate to be a part of a supportive and generous community! Our operations rely on donations and food drives organized by civic organizations and local churches. Cash donations and various grants allow us to purchase food from the North Country Food Bank and local suppliers to meet needs not met in donations.

What is most needed:

  • Flour

  • Sugar

  • Cooking oil

  • Pasta

  • Canned meats

  • Peanut butter

  • Canned fruits and vegetables

  • Soup

  • Personal care items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, paper products, feminine  hygiene, etc.

Donations can be dropped off when the Food Shelf is open or by appointment.  Please do not leave food outside unattended.

If you would like to donate items and have questions, please contact us!

Volunteering

We are staffed entirely by volunteers and are open one hour a day, 5 days a week. Our volunteers stock shelves and assist clients in selecting their food. They maintain the utmost confidentiality while working with our clients.

Our volunteer teams enjoy working with each other and serving our community! If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Food Shelf.
